Together with our Creative Director, I spearheaded a project aimed at addressing the growing inventory and complex navigation of Airbnb Experiences. Collaborating closely with the product team, we crafted a complete creative strategy and direction for the merchandise. Our efforts included expanding the existing color palette to evoke a more immersive experience and refining the photography art direction to better showcase the unique offerings.
We explored the addition of a secondary typeface to enhance the visual appeal, while also commissioning illustrators to create bespoke artworks for top experience categories in Airbnb's most popular cities. This comprehensive creative approach resulted in an intuitive and seamless user experience, elevating Airbnb Experiences and setting a new standard for the platform.
